About Us

Zaphira is a private investment firm with a strong focus in real estate development. We have a “family-office” structure and operate as a vertically integrated real estate investment platform. We target mainly opportunities in Portugal, where we benefit from having significant local knowledge backed by a seasoned management team and strong local structure with experience going back 35 years. Our strategy is to drive growth from our investments by using our local technical team to optimize existing projects while being able to deliver unique high quality products to our end clients.

Mr. Adriano Callé Lucas

Chairman

Mr. Lucas is an architect and urban planner and has extensive experience (40 years +) in real estate development as well as consultancy. With university background in architecture, urban planning, business administration and real estate valuation, Mr. Lucas incorporated CPU Consultores in 1983. Over the past 30 years, Mr. Lucas has successfully developed a number of real estate projects in Portugal. He holds a Master of Science degree from the London School of Economics, is a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and a Recognized European Valuer.

Adriano Lucas

Co-Founder and Managing Partner

Mr. Lucas has been involved in his family’s real estate ventures for the past 10 years. He seats on the board of CPU since 2008 and has actively supported diverse real estate developments. He is responsible for sourcing new opportunities, overseeing the commercial team and supporting the deal execution. Mr. Lucas worked in Investment Banking at Société Générale in London and New York (2005 – 2008) and co-founded and later sold two consumer retail companies in the USA with significant real estate presence in 9 States (2009-2014). He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Universidade Católica Portuguesa.

Cascais, Portugal

Gated condominium with a retail area and 88 villas, from one to six bedrooms, with contemporary architecture and large gardens, inspired by the natural beauty of the Portuguese coast. Bloom Marinha is located in Quinta da Marinha, Cascais, one of the most exclusive and prominent regions to live in Portugal. The site enjoys from an unassailable location, as it is inserted near two of Portugal’s most beautiful interest points: Guincho beach and Parque Natural Sintra-Cascais. It combines on the one hand, the comfort and quality of Quinta da Marinha’s facilities (golf courses, tennis courts, hotels, restaurants, etc.), with the relative proximity (25km) to Lisbon’s trendy city center. The project is currently under construction with the first deliveries of Villas expected to occur in early 2021.

Tabaqueira

Lisboa, Portugal

Located in the trendy up and coming area of Marvila, Lisbon, Tabaqueira combines the reconstruction os a historical building with the river front of Tagus. The project aims to leverage on the site’s heritage – XIX century tobacco factory – and reconvert it into a state-of-the-art river front building with a mixed residential and commercial use.
